The Oyster Who Looked at the Sky Book Launch
Tofino Botanical Gardens : 2:00PM - 4:00PM

A family friendly event sponsored by Wildside Booksellers

The Oyster Who Looked at the Sky (Oolichan Books) is the result of a collaboration between two Tofino women: writer Darcy Dobell and artist Marion Syme. This beautifully-illustrated picture book evokes the magic of the west coast while celebrating the natural curiosity of children.

Please join us for the west coast launch of this new book. Meet the author and illustrator, and enjoy a family-oriented afternoon of stories, art, and refreshments. Each child will have an opportunity to create his or her own oyster memento!
